Recruitment consultant jobs are dynamic, challenging but enjoyable for the right type of person.  They can be a high pressure affairs with monthly, or even weekly targets.  Recruitment fees for placements can be high.  A good consultant might place two people in a month for £12K, but on the same token may follow many processes through to the final stages, but lose all at the final hurdle and bill nothing.

The margins between success and failure for recruitment consultants can be tiny, adding to the pressure.  If, however, you are good, earnings potential can be up there above Doctors and lawyers.  Six figure earnings are common.
