Recruitment Agencies Defend NHS Temporary Nurse Bill
Recruitment agencies have struck back against claims that the government is wasting tax payers money.

The news broke that the government is paying up to one hundred and twenty one pounds every hour for temporary nurses. The Conservative Party discovered this and condemned the fact that the NHS’ annual bill for temporary staff has double to over one point one eight billion pounds since the Labour party took charge of the country.
Shockingly, one nurse was said to be being paid one hundred and twenty one pounds and fifty nine pence an hour at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust.
To defend the Recruitment Agencies, the director of external relations at the Recruitment Employment Confederation (REC) responded by saying that agency workers are certainly not a drain on resources.
He added that that he believes the report is out of context when considering the contribution and flexibility of the highly skilled temporary workers. Whilst describing the report and opinions as “a shame”, he went on to state that there are indeed very few temporary nurses being paid a figure close to the one hundred and twenty pind an hour mark. As well as is this he reaffirmed that commission taken by Recruitment Agencies was also small.
